Today we read a book called "I love Fall". After this book we talked about how we notice that leaves change color in the fall. To represent all the fun colors we see in fall, we made leaf window clings. They are already hanging in our classroom and they look fantastic!
Today we were introduced to the parachute! We learned how to hold it, did the mushroom (where you sit inside of it), practiced making waves with it, and practiced crawling under it. We had a blast!! Next week we will be playing a game with it, so I am glad they all had superstar listening ears when we learning all about it.
This week in our sensory bin we are working on our fine motor skills. We are using tweezers to pick up noodles! We are doing really well with it!
Today in art we worked on our counting skills with our fall tree. We wre only allowed to have 6 leaves on our tree, so that all our friends would have the same amount. We rocked at picking out only six leaves to put on our trees.
Last week we worked so hard at our names, they are now on our hard work wall in our classroom! :)
